What You Will Learn
A relationship-based practice, up close
Maritza brings 19 years in healthcare, with a background spanning surgery, internal and family medicine, urgent care, and wellness. Students see how a personal, relationship-based practice runs day to day: the visit, the plan, the follow-up, and the conversations that build trust.
Because every visit is by video, you also learn the skills telehealth demands: taking a careful history without a hands-on exam, knowing when a patient needs to be seen in person, and documenting clearly.

That depends on your program. Some programs limit how many telehealth hours count, so please confirm with your clinical coordinator before you book a call.
No. The call is a conversation to see whether the fit is right for both of you. If it is, we coordinate next steps with your program.
If it does, your clinical coordinator can send it to Admin@mkprimarycare.com and we will review it.
If you are accepted, you complete onboarding first, including a confidentiality agreement, before observing any patient care.
